General
The Latin Percussion LP-511 consists of 36 chimes and offers a beautifully bright sound that will complement any professional drum kit or percussion setup. This relatively wide version of the LP Studio Bar Chimes has an extra large tonal range, allowing for even richer and more shimmering musical embellishment. Furthermore, it offers a bit less sustain and volume than chimes from the Concert series, making it particularly well suited to studio use.
The Latin Percussion LP511: sturdy construction
The 3/8" hardened aluminium chimes are attached to a hardwood bar by means of highly durable Kevlar wires. You can also attach a separately available bracket to the anti-twist plate, allowing you to mount the Latin Percussion Studio Series Bar Chimes on a stand. A mallet is also included with your purchase.
